Shot by Martin Vallin, this project marked a shift in Zalando Beauty’s growing focus on video.

With a background in film, I shaped the concept around proximity: macro shots, texture, and movement - centering exclusively on bestselling products. Rather than over-styling, we allowed gloss, pigment, and skincare formulas to speak through light and detail.

By refining production scale and redirecting budget into post-production, we elevated the visual quality while collaborating with stronger creative talent in Stockholm. The result was a tactile, high-finish expression of beauty - intimate, precise, and grounded in product performance.
