Zalando | Concept + Art Direction

Co-art directed with Olivia Czaplinski, Beyond Romance reimagined Zalando’s Valentine’s Day campaign through the five senses, treating each sensation as a portal into another world. Touch, scent and the warmth of skin became starting points for a visual story that moved between intimacy and surrealism.

Working with Olivia, I helped shape the visual concept around real couples and close, tactile imagery, contrasting unhurried moments of connection with surreal CGI landscapes: rocky terrain blooming with pink flowers, faces dissolving into abstraction and hands holding something almost invisible.

Directed by Harun Güler, the film unfolds through spoken word, with his voice becoming a poem beneath the images. CGI by Looping Lovers translated the intangible qualities of love and desire into imagined places, creating a film that feels intimate, dreamlike and otherworldly.
