A personal retreat in Naturschutzpark Schlaubetal, Brandenburg, conceived and brought to life from scratch.

I was looking for a place to escape the city. Somewhere quiet, close to nature and entirely my own. The house was built from scratch in just two weeks, followed by several months of careful curation. I sourced the furniture, oversaw the finishes and considered every detail of the interior, from the first delivery to the final placement.

White epoxy floors, a warm timber façade and ceiling, and frameless glazing that opens the interior to the forest and water. Nothing superfluous, everything considered..
