A personal retreat in Naturschutzpark Schlaubetal, Brandenburg, conceived and directed from scratch.

I was looking for a place to escape the city. Somewhere quiet, close to nature, entirely my own. The house was built from scratch within two weeks. What followed was several months of careful curation - sourcing furniture, overseeing finishes, managing every detail of the interior from first delivery to final placement.

White epoxy floors, a warm timber façade and ceiling, frameless glazing that opens the interior fully to the forest and the water beyond. Nothing superfluous. Everything considered.

The result is a space that embodies the same principles that run through all of the work - quiet, sensual, enduring.
